Absolutely Revolting

Last Thursday we sipped cocktails and nibbled appetizers at The James Hotel as a select group of media were given the first peek of Food Revolution Chicago.

What is Food Revolution Chicago? Check out the teaser below to whet your appetite.

We know you can’t wait to revolt.  Like Food Revolution Chicago on Facebook and follow @FoodRevChicago on Twitter to join the revolution and be kept in-the-know of our future shooting schedules and events.

Is it summer yet?

While shooting for Maurices in Palm Springs we found this lovely little gem.  We’re making it a Concentrated summer home.  All Concentrated clients get a free week stay*.

Rocking the Belk Bowl

If you happened to watch any football over this holiday season, then you likely saw our newest work for Belk.

Belk’s Modern, Southern, Style was brought to a national audience for the second year in a row with a broadcast commercial that aired on ESPN during the Belk Bowl and a number of other bowl games.  For those that know Belk and its retail locations, these spots were a reminder of all that Belk offers.  For people that aren’t lucky enough to live near an actual Belk store, the spot communicates that Belk’s Modern, Southern, Style is available to everyone through Belk.com.

In addition to the broadcast commercial, we created a short piece highlighting the schools that were the recipients of a $25,000 technology grant from Belk as part of their Rocking the Belk Bowl Contest.  This was screened in stadium at the Belk Bowl before the schools were presented with their BIG checks.

Cheers to rocking out 2013.

A Hub for Your Grub

Last week our recent collaboration with GrubHub hit the YouTubiverse.  The three :15 second spots directed by the Fun Brothers utilize expertly fabricated food suits and the occasional well-placed expletive (bleeped out, of course, we’re classy like that).

Casting, pre-production, shooting, editing, motion graphics, music composition, and color correction were all completed by the CONmen and women of Concentrated.

Here’s one.

CON Screens Weinberg, Freaks, and Tires

Last night we screened our short comedy, Advantage: Weinberg at the newly renovated Logan Theater in Chicago.  In addition to Advantage: Weinberg, we also showed the much anticipated trailer for our documentary film, Freaks & Errors: A Rare Collection, and our recently completed short-documentary, All Day Tire.

Action, adventure, intrigue…postage stamps.  Freaks & Errors is a feature documentary that follows the astonishing world of the stamp collector.  You can see the trailer here.

Facebook and Twitter pages for F&E are now open for business.

Facebook: FreaksAndErrors, Twitter: FreaksAndErrors

All Day Tire chronicles the life and times of Antonio Santiago, a native of Puerto Rico who works his way through life, quite literally.  Tony copes with loss of his wife to diabetes and a son to gang violence by immersing himself in his work at a tire shop located in Wicker Park that has been servicing the neighborhood since there were more gang bangers than strollers.

We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to share our newest creative endeavors with our friends, families, and clients (who in many cases are also our friends and family).  Pictures of the evening will be posted to the Concentrated Facebook page sometime in the near future.  We’ll edit as we see fit, meaning the most lurid photos will make the post, and the boring ones will be trashed.

Weinberg does L.A.

Live in California? Been looking for an excuse to hit the West Coast?  Going to be in L.A. this weekend?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above, you should snag some tickets to the L.A. Comedy Fest.  There you can see the WORLD PREMIERE of  Advantage: Weinberg, Concentrated’s short film collaboration with Director, David Singer.

6pm, Sunday, April 22nd.  All the cool kids will be there.

Trailer?  Here.
